Exterior Design

The Livan 7 is a coupe-style SUV with a short rear end, somewhat reminiscent of the Geely Star S. Its dimensions (length/width/height) are 4,690/1,892/1,650 mm, and its 2,775 mm wheelbase places it on par with—or even slightly below—gas-powered SUVs in the same price range. At the front, the daytime running lights are integrated into a light bar, while the headlights are positioned separately at the bottom—a design typically reserved for larger models. On the Livan 7, this helps to visually streamline the front end. At the rear, the taillights also feature the same full-width design, and the two small, split exhaust tips on the roof further draw the eye.

Interior Design

The car’s interior design and cabin space are impressive. The two-tone leather accents, the large screen, and the longitudinal wireless phone charger add a touch of sophistication while maintaining a contemporary aesthetic. It’s worth noting that the Livan 7 is equipped with 128-color ambient lighting and a translucent sun visor, both from the same Smart line. Practical without sacrificing any of its charm.

The infotainment system is equipped with the automotive-grade 7-nm Dragon Eagle I chip. In addition to navigation, it offers numerous entertainment features, such as karaoke, movie playback, and voice control. The Livan 7 comes standard with LED headlights and automatic climate control. The mid-range and top-of-the-line trims also feature heated and ventilated seats, as well as lane-keeping assist.

In terms of space, rear headroom is adequate, and the raised first-row seat height—a common feature in similar-style SUVs—further enhances legroom for rear passengers.

The new car is equipped with numerous sensors for its Level 2+ driver-assistance system, including a lidar, five 4D millimeter-wave radars, twelve ultrasonic radars, and a satellite positioning system integrated with the “Geely Future Mobility Constellation.” These first satellites are part of a planned constellation, the “Geely Future Mobility Constellation.” This constellation will consist of 240 satellites, with the first phase—comprising 72 satellites—scheduled to be launched into orbit by 2025. The second phase, which will follow, will include 168 satellites.

All models feature a single rear-mounted motor and are equipped with either a 120 kW/240 Nm motor or an 180 kW/385 Nm motor. The high-power model can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. Its 50.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack or its 68.03 kWh ternary lithium battery pack offer all-electric ranges of 450 km and 605 km, respectively, under CLTC testing.

In addition, the car supports fast charging and battery replacement. Geely claims that fast charging from 30% to 80% takes 30 minutes, while battery replacement takes only 60 seconds.
